Deerubbin has a tremendous relationship with Wentworth Falls TAFE which was initiated in January 2004 and has continued up to this present day. The ‘Stepping Stone’ trainee program has enough students to make a full class of Aboriginal students for the second time in the TAFE’s history of being a college.

The strength of this partnership is providing Aboriginal people a chance of employment and training. Both theoretical and practical components are covered in the course.

Deerubbin LALC has employed 9 trainees from within their boundaries, studying Conservation and Land Management Certificate 2 at the college.
